Privacy policy

Your name, email address, mobile number, state and city; your profile details, skills, work experience and photos; the jobs, offers, reviews and reports you create; and a random ID stored in your browser.

Your mobile number and email address are private. Taski never shows them to other users. A number is only seen by someone else if you choose to send it in a chat. Your name, location, bio, skills, work experience, previous work photos, ratings and reviews are public. Job details and photos are shown to people using Taski.

We use your details to run your account, show jobs and offers, send notifications, calculate commission and handle reports.

We compare mobile numbers, including numbers sent in chats, names, cities and the browser ID to notice when one person may have more than one account. Taski staff review these matches.

The customer and the worker on a job can chat, and can choose to share a location or a number. Taski staff can read these chats to keep people safe, handle reports and check for repeat accounts.

Photos are compressed on your device before upload. This also removes hidden data such as the location where the photo was taken.

Your data is stored with Supabase, and the website runs on Vercel. We do not sell your data.

You can edit your profile at any time. To ask for a copy of your data or to close your account, contact us.
